It Takes Courage

Get your sneakers ready to go door to door, home by home, distributing door hangers with life-saving information about 24-hour resources for domestic abuse victims. This county- wide event will be held this year on Saturday, March 23rd. Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Orlando Police Department, and Harbor House of Central Florida are banding together to spread awareness about domestic violence. Our goal is simple: Get the right information to the right people at the right time to save lives.

This year, we hope to have more than 300 volunteers fan out across Central Florida to visit apartment complexes, hanging door tags to spread awareness. Gather your friends, family, and co-workers to join us for this free event.
