Can You Walk a Mile in Her Shoes?
It’s that time of year again, when we Walk A Mile in Her Shoes down Orange Avenue to raise awareness about domestic violence in our community and raise money for resources to support critical survivor programs and services through Harbor House of Central Florida.
Aptly named, this event encourages men and women to strap on stilettos (or blingy flip flops or sneakers, if you prefer) and walk to show solidarity with survivors of domestic violence.
Participate as an individual or encourage your friends, family members, and colleagues to start a team today!
To add to the fun (and healthy competition), upon registration, you will be entered to win Largest Team, Largest Team Fundraiser, and Largest Individual Fundraiser. Men are also invited to walk the red carpet at 5:45pm to compete for the Best Shoe Award!
